Beauty // Timeless Truth Face Masks review *

There's nothing nicer than the feel of a face mask doing it's magic and wiping away the days make up and stress. That's why I'm very happy to share with you these Timeless Truth masks that I was sent to review.I've been trying to include more masks in my beauty routine because I'm lazy, and I love anything that I don't have to fuss over and it means I can watch Netflix at the same time!

I love that they come with a little booklet which details all the information about the masks they offer, they've definitely thought this through! These sheet masks come in individual pouches and retail on thebeautymask anywhere from £4.95 to £7.65 each. This seems a little pricey, but they do focus on using high quality ingredients to create the "ultimate mask experience"

Miracle Rejuvenation Mask  £6.45 *

I thought I'd start with the mask that I enjoyed the most, which is targeted towards dry, ageing or  pigmented skin. This is the first mask I've used that has really clever ear hooks to allow the mask to stay in place-genius! As with all the masks,it's heavily saturated with serum that sinks into the sink easily and feels very nourishing. It contains a wide range of useful ingredients including m-Tranexamic acid to help fight inflammation,Argireline to reduce lines and Salicylic Acid, which I love as it's a really effective spot fighter and manages to reduce my pores.I kept this on for 15 minutes before removing it and my skin felt wonderful afterwards and very "glowy".I think this would be a great mask to prep your skin for Summer.

Herbal Rejuvenation Imortelle Mask £4.95 *

I love anything that uses Vitamin E as it works wonders on healing skin and keeping it in good condition. This not only contains Vitamin E, but also incorporates herbal essences and Immortelle Extract to deliver a big moisture hit to ageing and/or dry skin. Apparently, the Immortelle flower is a very versatile plant whose extract can help calm and revive tired skin, although you won't find any in your garden as they're a Mediterranean flower,it's great to have the wonderful benefits of this flower in a handy and easy to use mask. The formula feels very hydrating and leaves my skin feeling really plump and even,so much so that I didn't even wear make up afterwards.I would definitely recommend this mask if you need to give your skin a pick me up,or your suffer from dry, irritated skin.

Bio Cellulose EGF Mask £7.65 *

Honestly,I don't think I'd ever get botox in the future,as tempting as it may be I'd be worried something would go wrong.Saying that, I'm always looking for lotions and potions to help my skin stay looking fresh and renewed, that's why I really enjoyed using this EGF Bio Cellulose Mask which is full of ingredients to aid in collagen production and reduce lines.Hylauronic acid helps the skin hold onto water which means a more youthful and firm complexion, and ECF or "Epidermal Growth Factor" repairs cells and supports their growth. It all sounds very sciency but it really does work to even and soften all of my problem areas.I also noticed that my t-zone wasn't as shiny and my foundation glided on more smoothly than before.

Tip: After removing the mask,I rubbed the sheet over my skin so that any excess serum soaked into my skin and it doubled up as a massage too-bonus!

I've really enjoyed using these masks,I think they'd be great before an event,or just to have a relaxing night in.They're really easy to use and they definitely feel like they have done my skin the world of good.I thought i'd document some of my "ultimate mask experience" with selfies (of course)

I'm really happy with the results,I'm make up free in the last photo, and my skin hasn't felt this good in ages.I suffer with temperamental combination skin that can get irritated quickly, but you wouldn't know! I'm going to try and keep my skin in this condition by drinking lots of water and not relying on make up wipes at the end of the day (bad blogger).Watch this space!

Are face masks a regular part of your beauty routine?

Beauty // SPF Summer Skin care picks

These past few days have been wonderfully warm haven't they? I hope you've all been enjoying the weather.I've been trying to make the most of it by spending as much time basking in the sunshine as possible! This week I've really been making sure to include products that contain SPF in order to avoid that lobster red look.I wish I was able to get a golden tan like some people, but until then I'll stick to these as I've found these have really helped to keep my skin in check.

I've been applying this Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock religiously since it started getting warmer and I love that I can use it on my face without breaking out as it is oil free and non comedogenic (doesn't clog pores) I picked it up from the 99p store and it's the highest SPF factor that I've been able to find (let me know if you have seen any higher!) It sinks into the skin easily but it is quite slow to absorb so I'd definitely wait 5 minutes before getting dressed etc..I've used some sunscreens that have left my face looking like an oil slick, but with this one I can apply foundation over it and still have a completely matte finish.

This Holika Holika Petit BB Cream in Moisturising  is really great for those sunny days where you want to wear lighter make up and let your skin breathe. It's SPF 30 and its creamy formulation is amazing for sorting out tired dry skin whilst giving a medium coverage.I've got very pale skin and I found this to be a good match, despite looking quite orange in the tube it leaves my skin looking even and lessens the look of my pores.I wrote a full review a little while back which you can read here

As a 00's teenage girl,I was an huge fan of the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, but as I got into my 20's I found that I wanted a foundation that offered a more coverage and was more suited to my skin tone.I've been using Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation in Light Vanilla (as you can see from the tatty much loved packaging!) It's £10.99 which is quite expensive compared to my budget buys, but as foundation can make such a difference I'm happy to pay it.It contains SPF 10 and has various pigments (yellow, red and green) to help combat dark circles, dull complexion and redness. It does cover light pimples and scarring, but if you're having a breakout you might need to apply some heavy duty concelear to add a little more coverage. One thing I've noticed is that it does stay on for a good few hours,a little swirl of powder is all that is needed to set this for most of the day.I could stand to go a shade paler (they don't do it!) but I love how it feels light and natural on my skin.If you're after a long lasting and medium coverage foundation then I'd really recommend it.

Although I've got my trusty skincare routine to help keep my freckles safe and the wrinkles at bay,I'm really struggling to find a foundation for pale freckly skin!

Does anybody have any recommendations?

Poundland Bargains // DermaV10 deep wrinkle collagen filler review

I'm convinced that if I do all I can to stop wrinkles now, they will stay away for the forseable future and hopefully forever.I know this is wishful thinking but I already apply suncream and drink lots of water, and I was looking for a cream too add to my skincare collection that can help my skin stay looking young.I've had great success with Derma V10 products from Poundland in the past and I reguarly use their day cream,so I was really excited to try this deep wrinkle collagen filler.

I love how fuss free and crisp the packaging looks,it definitely helps the product look a lot more luxurious,if you didn't know you might have thought I paid a lot more for it! It's contains various ingredients that are designed to help leave your skin looking smoother and wrinkle free.Let's have a look and see what they do shall we?

Collagen :- This is a protein that can help maintain the elasticity of the skin and support the renewal of cells
.
Hylauronic Acid :-This substance helps the skin hold on to water which results in the reduction of wrinkles and signs of ageing

Shea Butter :- This is well known for being great for moisturising skin and leaving it soft and smooth.

Caffeine :- Great for perking up skin and reducing puffy areas.

It all sounds great doesn't it? On top of all of that,it's very easy to use.You just place the nozzle against any problem areas and then massage the cream in.For maximum results,it's suggested that you use this daily.

I've been using this product for about a week now and I'm really glad I've added it to my routine. It's really cooling and great at soothing the under eye area when I've had a long day.I've also noticed that it reduces under eye bags and dark circles, and that's worth a round of applause! It's.It's definitely helps me feel more confident in my skin, and the bonus is that I know no animals have been harmed either.I can't comment on it's wrinkle reducing abilities, but after applying it my skin does look more glowing and even,so I imagine that it would be an effective anti ageing cream too! It's everything I could want in an eye cream and I will definitely be repurchasing it again, although I think it will take me a while to finish as you don't need much.

What anti ageing products do you swear by?
